Guqin music on CD
A few months ago Liang Mingyue featured our monthly update because of his publication of a new CD, The Flowing Waters, published by Lyrichord and which features four masterful qin interpretations.
Lyrichord has just released in digital format the recordings of an old 1965 LP, Chinese classical masterpieces. As the original, this new release features the great musician Lui Tsunyuen playing the qin and the pipa.
Finally, we must highlight the DVD edition of a documentary focused on the Performing Arts of China. Although its short duration (28 mins), its content is so interesting, including a qin master playing a section of Meihua sannong and also some footage regarding silk string manufacture.
