Qin Music by Meian Masters - HUGO Productions

This CD includes historical recordings by three masters belonging to the Meian qin school: Xu Lisun (徐立孙, 1897-1969), Chen Xinyuan (陈心园, 1908-1994) and Zhi Xichen (朱惜辰, 1924-1958). Among the fifteen tracks, recorded between 1956 and 1962, we found eight different pieces of Meian's repertory, plus two classical qin works, Secluded orchid and Guanglingsan, both played by Xu Lisun.
